<br />9'1~ -IS? <br /> <br />~\ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY <br /> <br />BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, MAY 31, 1994 <br />i <br />of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned <br />with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding. <br /> <br />session <br /> <br />The Hall County'Board <br />~ and by published call <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Margaret Landis, <br />Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. Absent was:Richard Frauen. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Robert Ivers, Community Bible Church. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of May 24th meeting were accepted as corrected, on Motion. by Quandt, <br />seconded by Stelk. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk <br />voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerom Janulewicz was present. <br />Janulewicz requested approval of Keno satellite addendum to increase the <br />commission for Hub Lounge from 4% to 5% of gross proceeds effective June <br />1, 1994 as a~proved by Fonner Keno, Inc. <br />Commiss10n for WestsideLanes was questioned. Janulewicz stated that <br />would be considered for July 1, 1994 (6 months after operations) <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Landis to adopt Resolution :/1:1567 as pre- <br />sented by Janulewicz. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk <br />voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # J 5"tf; 7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO THE SATELLITE KENO <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN ROD HUEBNER D/B/A HUB LOUNGE AND FONNER <br />KENO, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The County of Hall and Fonner Keno, Inc., have <br />entered into a lottery operators agreement, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "agreement," for the operation of the <br />Hall County Keno Lottery; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the agreement provides that the compensation to be <br />received by an initial satellite location may be adjusted <br />upward or downward from the initial percentage upon <br />agreement of Fonner Keno, Inc., the satellite owner, and the <br />County of Hall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fonner Keno, Inc., and Rod. Huebner d/b/a Hub Lounge <br />have entered into an addendum to the satellite keno <br />agreement between Fonner Keno, Inc., and Rod Huebner which <br />addendum provides for an increase' of the gross proceeds to <br />be received by Rod Huebner from the operation of the keno <br />game at the Hub Lounge; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fonner Keno, Inc., and Rod Huebner desire that the <br />County of Hall approve the aforesaid addendum agreement. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that the addendum agreement between Rod <br />Huebner d/b/a Hub Lounge and Fonner Keno, Inc. , which <br />provides for an increase of the keno commissions to be <br />received by Rod Huebner from four percent (4%) to five <br />percent (5%) of the gross proceeds received from the <br />operation of a keno-type lottery at the Hub Lounge it hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this~;I day of <br /> <br />HALL <br /> <br />79?~ <br /> <br />COUNTY B~SORS <br /> <br />, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />
