Supervisor Hartman presented a copy of resolution adopted <br />by Merrrick County and asked be referred to Deputy Attorney Janulewicz for <br />review and have resolution for Hall County on next week's agenda. <br /> <br />Discussion on County Board meetings for December 26, 1995 and January 2, <br />1996. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to not hold County Board meetings <br />on December 26, 1995 and January 2, 1996 due to holidays. Abernethy, Hart- <br />man, Landis, Leslie, Quandt andStelk voted yes, none voted no, with Rosen- <br />kotter absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recessed for Board of Equalization at 9:56 A.M. and returned to regular <br />session at 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br />County Assessor presented tax correction notices #1048 thru #1070. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to accept and authorize Chairman to <br />initial the tax correction notices #1048 thru #1070. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Rosenkotter <br />absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Assessor informed the County Board Members her office has mailed out <br />about 1200 notices for Board of Equalization hearings on November 7, 1995 <br />at 7:00 P.M. They ~ill have a table set up and have people sign in, if they <br />wish to speak with the Board and will take them in the order signed. <br /> <br />Chairman called 5 minute recess. Returned to session and discussion on <br />paternity and Juvenile Defense cases. <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Hartman to have specifications prepared for <br />review at next week's meeting on the paternity and juvenile defense cases to <br />place an ad in Grand Island Independent, as well as newspapers in Omaha, <br />Lincoln, Hastings and Kearney.
