<br />Bill Bean, superintendent of the Hall County Weed Control Authority,
<br />reviewed his activity report for the 1994-1995 fiscal year. Quandt
<br />made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to accept and place on file.
<br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk
<br />all voted yes and none voted no.

<br />The letter from Bill.Brennan, executive editor of the Grand Island
<br />Independent,was read and placed on file. Mr. Brennan declined to appear.
<br />
<br />Don Shuda, veterans service officer, presented to the board information
<br />on microfilm that is used by his office. The register of deeds office
<br />is purchasing a new microfilm machine and a reader that is on this new
<br />machine would be beneficial to the veterans service office. He
<br />requested $500.00 from the board to purchase this part. Hartman made
<br />a motion and Leslie seconded to authorize the purchase of this part
<br />for the veterans service office from the equipment acquisition fund.
<br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all
<br />voted yes and none voted no.

<br />Don Shuda presented the agenda for County Government Day which is to
<br />be held November 14. He had received a request from the teachers to
<br />have the board members conduct the tours. He also stated that the
<br />students enjoyed the mock trail. Margaret Landis was given permission
<br />to make a handout to give to the students. Discussion was held on
<br />setting up a meeting before the next county government day to go over
<br />the agenda.

<br />The office report from the Hall County Sheriff for June 1995 was
<br />read. Quandt made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to accept the
<br />report and place on file. Abernethy,. Hartman, Landis. Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.

<br />the board. Quandt made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to accept
