<br />11:50 A.M. Rosenkotter made a motion and Stelk seconded to go into
<br />executive session on a personnel matter. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and Landis voted no.

<br />12:20 Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to go out of executive
<br />session. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk
<br />all voted yes and none voted no. Landis was excused for a Reuse
<br />meeting.

<br />LB646 and 646A was read concerning indigent defense. The state is
<br />allocating $245,000.00 for 1995-1996 and $333,000.~0 Ior 1996-
<br />1997 for some relief to the counties for. indigent defense. They
<br />will need to establish a commission on public advocacy. Members
<br />would be appointed to this commission. This should give some
<br />relief to the counties.

<br />Quandt made amotion and Rosenkotter seconded to accept and place
<br />on file the office report. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Rosenkotter and Ste1k all voted yes and none voted no.

<br />. The claim from Lacy Building and Supply for the construction of the
<br />additional window in the motor vehicle department was for $16,800.00
<br />The amount budgeted for this construction was$J_~~_OOO. 00 . Doris Mason
<br />has enough left in her budget to cover the?dditional costs. The
<br />amount of $12,000.00 was approved for this construction.

<br />Russ Johson with the Hall County Airport Authority Board presented
<br />a letter to the county board requesting $100,000.00 to assist the
<br />airport on a number of projects. He requested the board to consider
<br />this request at budget time.

<br />Stelk made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to go into Board of
<br />Equalization. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter,
<br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.

<br />Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded to return to regular
<br />session. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter
<br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.

<br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to refer the letter from
<br />Dale Wilson, 2429 Commerce, Grand Island, to the County Assessor
<br />Jan Pelland. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter,
<br />arid Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.

<br />The claim for Great Plains Appraisal was discussed. The money to
<br />pay this will be paid from the miscellaneous general\Dudgej.
<br />
<br />The GIS Committee Report was read. They recommended that the
<br />Hall County Board accept this proposal. $66,000.00 is in the
<br />1994-1995 budget and $66,000.00 will be in the 1995-1996 budget.
<br />They will also need to have the maintenance contract for $7,235.00
<br />for the first year. Leslie made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded
<br />to accept the proposal. Abernethy, Leslie, Rosenkotter, Stelk and
<br />Hartman all voted yes. Quandt and Landis voted no.
