Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUI'ION #96- ..tJ 0..5 / <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO REQUIRE COUNTY BOARD APPROVAL PRIOR TO THE <br />APPOINTMENT OR lURING OF ADDmONAL COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Neb.Rev.Stat. sec. 23-1111 (Reissue 1991) provides that the county officers in all <br />counties shall have the necessary clerks and assistants for such periods and at such salaries as they may <br />determine with the approval of the county hoard; and <br /> <br />, WHEREAS, The Hall County Board of Supervisors desires to provide guidance to elected and <br />appointed county officials regarding County Board approval for the addition of staff by any such elected or <br />appointed official. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hall County Board of Supervisors that any elected or <br />appointed county official who desires to appoint or hire an additional clerk, assistant, or other employee <br />shall request County Board approval prior to any such appointment or hiring.
