Returned to regular session at 9:36 a.m. <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Landis to return to regular session. <br />Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with <br />Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: Motion by Abernethy seconded by Landis to hold Execu- <br />tive Session to discuss tax foreclosure cases with Deputy County Attorney. <br />Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with <br />Hartman absent. Motion Carried. <br />Executive Session with Deputy Attorney Janulewicz present. Returned to <br />regular session at 10:16 a.m. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Abernethy, to return to regular session. <br />Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with <br />Hartman absent. .Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Russ Johnson, Manager, Central Nebraska Regional Air- <br />port spoke in regard to the water problems at the airport. Requested County <br />Board to look into the question "if legal to use devices to pump water on to <br />someones property"~ Chairman Stelk suggested the Public Works Committee and <br />Director, Deputy Attorney, to meet with Airport Authority in regard to the <br />question. Was suggested that Jim Eriksen Soil Conservation Office to attend <br />also. supervisor Landis, member of Public Works Committee stated they will <br />have a Public Works Committee meeting soon. <br /> <br />MIDLAND AREA AGENCY ON AGING BUDGET REQUEST: Jerry Ryan and Sharon Kirby <br />Midland Area Agency on Aging presented letter of budget request for 1996- <br />1997 for $23,178. Mr. Ryan reviewed the request briefly with the Board <br />members. No action was taken today. <br /> <br />STATE OF NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ROADS, FEDERAL AND STATE PUBLIC TRANSPORTA- <br />TION OPERATING ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT, PROJECT NO. RPT-C401(197) for FY-97 <br />application for handibus services in Hall County. <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Landis to approve and authorize <br />Chairman to sign agreement as received. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion <br />carried. <br />
