<br />96;:'- 19~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />2.2 The fee for tent camping shall be $4.00 per day per tent, including sales tax, and <br />the fee for recreational vehicles (pickup campers, camping trailers, motor homes, etc.) <br />shall be $8.00 per day per unit, including sales tax. <br /> <br />2.3 The duration of stay for camping shall not exceed three (3) consecutive days in <br />any week unless the Park Superintendent permits an extension based upon <br />extenuating circumstances such as illness. The camping facilities are available for <br />visitors and shall not be used as a permanent place of abode. <br /> <br />2.4 Persons who wish to camp shall register for camping and pay camping fees in <br />advance. <br /> <br />2.5 Check out time shall be 12:30 p.m. <br /> <br />3.0 Group Camping and Picnicking <br /> <br />Groups of twenty (20) or more persons who desire to use the park for camping or <br />picnicking shall notify the Park Superintendent at least 24 hours in advance. <br /> <br />4.0 Days and Hours of Operation <br /> <br />4.1 The Park opening and closing dates shall be determined by the Park <br />Superintendent but shall be approximately April through October. Camping shall be <br />permitted May 1 through October 31. The Park Superintendent may open the Park <br />during other periods under such conditions and restrictions as deemed appropriate or <br />necessary by the Park Superintendent. <br /> <br />4.2 The Park shall be open from 6:30 a.m. through 11:00 p.m May 1 through <br />October 31 except for registered campers who shall be permitted to remain in the <br />park between the hours of 11:00 p.m and 6:30 a.m. Park hours during other times of <br />the year shall be set by the Park Superintendent based upon staffing, visitor safety, <br />and park conditions. <br /> <br />4.3 The Park entrance gate shall be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. during <br />camping season. Except in cases of emergency, campers are not be permitted to enter <br />or leave the park when the entrance gate is closed unless prior arrangements are made <br />with Park employees. Instructions for leaving the park in the event of an emergency <br />when the gate is closed shall be posed at the gate. <br /> <br />5.0 Collection of Fees <br /> <br />The Park Superintendent or his or her designee shall collect camping fees, issue <br />receipts, and maintain records of all fee transactions. All fees shall be remitted to the <br />County Treasurer for deposit. Fees shall be credited to the County General Fund. <br /> <br />6.0 Supervision <br /> <br />The Park Superintendent shall be responsible for the operation of the Park under the <br />control, direction, and supervision of the Hall County Board of Supervisors and the <br />Board's Parks and Recreation Committee. <br /> <br />7.0 Violations <br /> <br />Violations of Park rules shall be subject to prosecution under applicable state law. <br />Persons violating Park rules may be directed to leave the Park if deemed necessary by <br />the Park Superintendent or Park personnel. <br /> <br />8.0 Previous Rules and Regulations <br /> <br />All previous Park rules and regulations adopted by the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors shall be superseded by these rules upon the effective date of this <br />Resolution. <br />
