They have proposed Regional System Care <br />as the Administrator (RS Care) is not a part of Region III but does represent <br />the Tri City Area. Estimated cost for Hall County $150,000. based on pro-. <br />jected 1500 juvenile arrests in a year. Discussion was approximately one <br />hour. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Quandt that Hall County be the fiscal <br />agent for the grant application. Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Ste1k <br />voted yes, Rosenkotter voted no and Abernethy abstained. Motion carried on <br />5 yes, 1 no and 1 abstained vote. <br /> <br />BREAK: Chair called break at 10:27 a.m. and returned to regular session at <br />10:32 a.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING GAS 'N SHOP LIQUOR LICENSE AND MANAGER APPLICATION: Motion <br />by Rosenkotter, seconded by Leslie to open the Public Hearing. Abernethy, <br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Hartman was absent from his chair. Motion Carried. <br />County Clerk read affidavit of Publication as published in Grand Island <br />Independent on April 15, 1996. <br />Linda Neemeyer, Kearney, Nebraska, District Supervisor for Gas 'N Shop <br />in this area spoke in regard to the license and answered questions. She <br />introduced Roseann Anderson, who will be'manager of the Gas 'N Shop Store. <br />Harold Laessig to be Manager of the liquor license was unable to be present <br />today. <br />No one else from audience spoke for or against the license application. <br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Landis to close the Public Hearing. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Rosenkotter to approve the license <br />cation for Gas 'N Shop, 4150 West Highway 30, Grand Island. Hartman, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Ste1k voted yes, Abernethy voted no. <br />carried on 6 yes, 1 no vote. <br />Motion by Rosenkotter, seconded by Leslie to approve the application for <br />Harold Kay Laessig as Manager for liquor license for Gas 'N Shop.
