Needed to get more informa- tion. Chair Stelk suggested the Committee appointed for Joint Purchasing & incentive budgeting also look into comp time. Motion by Landis, seconded by Quandt to table until a later date. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. UPDATE ON STATUS OF RESCUE TRUCK FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN: Larry Nelson, City of Grand Island Fire Department gave update information and gave each board member a copy of document listing the funding received todate. They had requested $30,000.00 from Hall County at budget time. They are now ready to go out for bids on the truck and requested giftof$30,000.from Hall County at this time. Discussion followed. Motion from Landis, seconded by Quandt to give $5000.00 at this time for a donation to the rescue truck fund to be paid from the Inheritance fund. More discussion. Motion by Quandt, seconded by Landis to call for question. Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Aber- nethy and Rosenkotter voted no. Motion carried on 5 yes, 2 no vote. Vote on original motion, Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. CHAIR CALLED BREAK AT 9:57 A.M. Returned to session at 10:05 A.M. for BID OPENING ON FUEL HANDLING SYSTEM FOR GRAND ISLAND AND DONIPHAN HIGHWAY SHOPS. Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Independent.
