<br />9'''~ eJ~/ <br /> <br />Irene Abernethy reported on the Region III Advisory Board Meeting. <br />The Chairman of this board is Dr. Bird. He stated one of his <br />concerns is the number of EPC cases in this region. He expressed a <br />need for support groups and half-way houses for people. The Region <br />III serves 22 counties with headquarters in Grand Island, serving <br />12 counties. and Kearney, serving 10 counties. <br /> <br />The public hearing for the proposed One and Six Year Road Program <br />is to be set. Rosenkotter made a motion and Leslie seconded to set <br />the public hearing for February 13, at 10:00 A.M. Quandt questioned <br />the proposed blacktoping using Keno funds. Hartman presented the <br />following Public Works Committee Report. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:35 Quandt made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to go out of a <br />Board of Equalization. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Public Participation - <br /> <br />Ron Schierling, owner of RDS Inc. the New AIda Lounge, requested to <br />be on the agenda for February 13 concerning the hours set by the <br />county to serve alcoholic beverages. This will need to be reviewed by <br />the county attorney. Abernethy made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded <br />to refer this to the county attorney for review. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Quandt made a motion and Rosenkotter seconded to open bids for the <br />janitorial services.
