<br />Veterans Service Officer a 3% merit increase based on his evaluation.

<br />Rosenkotter made a motion and Abernethy seconded to give Rick Stepanek,
<br />with Building and Ground~ a step increase. Abernethy Hartman, Landis,

<br />Quandt made a motion and Abernethy seconded to accept and place on file
<br />the county office reports and communications. Abernethy, Hartman,

<br />vote no. Motion carried. The letter from the Economic Development
<br />Corporation wanting to know if the county wants to participate needs
<br />to be answered. The county will not attend.

<br />Landis requested that the two letters received from the State of
<br />Nebraska on accident reports be answered. Landis made a motion and
<br />.' Quandt seconded to refer the two letters from the Nebraska Department
<br />of Roads to the County Attorney, Public Works Director and the Public
<br />Works Committee to review. Abernethy, Hartman, Lanids, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Rosenkotter and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
