Motion carried. <br /> <br />CLARIFICATION ON ACTION ON CLAIM 617 AND APPROVE CLAIM FOR G&D <br />JANITORIAL: Landis made a motion and Abernethy seconded to <br />approve paYment of claim #617 in full and approve the claim for <br />G&D Janitorial in the amount of $6/179.00. Abernethy I Hartmanl <br />Lancasterl Landis I Long I Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />12:15 a.m. Recessed until 1:30 p.m. <br /> <br />1:35 p.m. Returned to session <br /> <br />DISCUSS CONSOLIDATION AGREEMENTS AUTHORIZED BY LB 1085 AND <br />APPROVE LETTER TO BE SENT TO ADJOINING COUNTIES: Deputy County <br />Attorney Jerry Janulewicz presented a copy of a letter to be sent <br />to other counties concerning consolidation of counties I county <br />offices or county services. This letter would be sent to Howard I Buffalo <br />Hamiltonl Adams and Sherman counties. Quandt made a motion and <br />Abernethy seconded to send the letter to the adjoining counties. <br />AbernethYI Hartman I Lancasterl Landis I Long I Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. The audit <br />committee could possibly hold some of the preliminary meetings. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO JULY 51 19941 MOTION ON THE SOUTH LOCUST EASEMENTS: <br />Stelk placed this item on the agenda to clarify the original <br />motion. Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to amend the <br />July 51 19971 motion that Hall County will not acquire <br />conservation easements by eminent domain. Quandt questioned why <br />the motion should be changed. Landis stated that this motion was <br />referring to the conservation easements and the word conservation <br />was left out. Landis called for the question and Stelk seconded. <br />AbernethYI Lancasterl Landisl Long and Stelk all voted yes, <br />Quandt voted no and Hartman abstained. Motion carried. The vote <br />on the motion to amend the July 51 1994 motion was AbernethYI <br />Lancasterl Landis I Long and Stelk all voted yesl Quandt voted no <br />and Hartman abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE AND SIGN AMENDMENT #4 TO THE EMPLOYEE HEALTH PLAN: Stelk <br />made a motion and Abernethy seconded to authorize the Chair to <br />sign amendment #4 to the employee health plan document. <br />AbernethYI Hartmanl Lancasterl Landis I Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
