BE IT RESOLVED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors, upon consideration of the record herein, the comments received at the public hearings on the proposed amendment, the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission, and the comments of the Director of Regional Planning, hereby amends Section 4 of the Hall County Zoning Resolution by adding the following defInitions: "Auto Wrecking Yard" Is any use of land or buildings as part of a commercial business of storing, keeping, buying, selling or trading wrecked, scrapped, inoperative, ruined or dismantled motor vehicles or trucks or motor vehicle or truck parts. 1his shall not include motor vehicles parked or stored pursuant to Section 6.8 of this Resolution; and "Motor Vehicle" Is any automobile or truck with a load rating of 3 tons or less. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, Section 6 of the Hall County Zoning Resolution is hereby amended by adding the following subsection 6.8: On agricultural zoned properties, a maximum of 40 scrapped, inoperative or dismantled motor vehicles may be parked or stored for non-commercial use purposes. On agricultural zoned properties within one-half (1/2) mile of a state or federal highway, a maximum of 40 scrapped, inoperative or dismantled motor vehicles may be parked or storedfor non-commercial purposes as long as they are in spaces visually screened from the highway by fencing and/or evergreen shrubbery. The aforementioned screening shall not be required if the number of said vehicles is 30 or less. Passed and adopted this 4th day of November, 1997. HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS BY: d 1 cro/ H. T.
