<br />< 91;':s?:J. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors, upon consideration of the record herein, the <br />comments received at the public hearings on the proposed amendment, the recommendation of the Regional <br />Planning Commission, and the comments of the Director of Regional Planning, hereby amends Section 4 of the <br />Hall County Zoning Resolution by adding the following defInitions: "Auto Wrecking Yard" Is any use of land <br />or buildings as part of a commercial business of storing, keeping, buying, selling or trading wrecked, <br />scrapped, inoperative, ruined or dismantled motor vehicles or trucks or motor vehicle or truck parts. 1his <br />shall not include motor vehicles parked or stored pursuant to Section 6.8 of this Resolution; and "Motor <br />Vehicle" Is any automobile or truck with a load rating of 3 tons or less. <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, Section 6 of the Hall County Zoning Resolution is hereby amended by <br />adding the following subsection 6.8: On agricultural zoned properties, a maximum of 40 scrapped, <br />inoperative or dismantled motor vehicles may be parked or stored for non-commercial use purposes. On <br />agricultural zoned properties within one-half (1/2) mile of a state or federal highway, a maximum of 40 <br />scrapped, inoperative or dismantled motor vehicles may be parked or storedfor non-commercial purposes as <br />long as they are in spaces visually screened from the highway by fencing and/or evergreen shrubbery.
