<br />C/1 j:" d7d <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97- /70.5 7 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall currently provides single and family health and accident <br />benefits to county employees ant their fariUlies pursuant to the County's health plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, except for payment of deductibles and co-payment amounts, county <br />employees are not required to pay premiums or otherwise contribute to the cost of providing the <br />aforesaid health and accident benefits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors desires to continue to provide the <br />aforesaid health and accident benefits for the fiscal years 1997-98, 1998-99 and 1999-2000 if <br />salary costs within county offices and departments remain within reasonable limits. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Hall County Board of Supervisors that for the fiscal years <br />1997-98, 1998-99 and 1999-2000 the County of Hall shall continue to provide single and family <br />health and accident benefits under the County's health and accident plan at the County's expense <br />to those full-time county employees who are employed in offices and departments having pay <br />increases within the following parameters: <br /> <br />Fiscal year 1997-98 <br />Fiscal year 1998-99 <br />Fiscal year 1999-2000 <br /> <br />maximum 3% cost of living increase, no pay step increases <br />maximum 2% cost of living increase, no pay step increases <br />maximum 2% cost of living increase, no pay step increase <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED that for the fiscal year 1997-98 the County of Hall shall <br />provide single and family health and accident benefits to appointed officials and that pay increases <br />for appointed officials shall not exceed 3% cost of living increase with no pay step increases. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED that the County Board of Supervisors shall undertake a <br />study of the County's pay plan and benefits provided to appointed county officials to determine <br />whether said officials are receiving comparable pay and benefits. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this ~day of August, 1997. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />{!(k4t4 ~ <br />~arl lCoruey,CountyCI <br /> <br />;ry BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br />J( / <br /> <br />H.
