<br />t?1 j: ;;< 1- g <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING COUNTY HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT TO STUDY USE <br />OF 60TH ROAD: Kenneth Winfrey filed a petition seeking vacation <br />of the last 21,000 feet of 60th Road, running to the North from <br />Platte River Drive and ending at the South Bank of the Platte <br />River. Lancaster made a motion and Stelk seconded to approve <br />Resolution #970052 directing the County Highway Superintendent to <br />studyand made recommendations concerning the vacation or <br />aban~onment of a public road. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landls, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97- t/'IJtJ!f;? <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COUNTY mGHW A Y SUPERINTENDENT TO <br />STUDY AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING THE VACATION OR <br />ABANDONMENT OF A PUBLIC ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kenneth Winfrey file9 with the Hall County Clerk a petition seeking vacation <br />or abandonment ofa public road in Hall County, Nebraska, to wit: the last 21,000 Feet of 60th <br />Road, running to the North from Platte River Drive and ending at the South Bank of the Platte <br />RiVer, crossing Lots Four (4) and Five (5) on the Mainland of Section Four (4), Township Nine <br />(9) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Neb. Rev. Stat. Sec. 39-1722 provides: <br /> <br />The county board of any county may by resolution, when it deems the public interest <br />may require vacation or abandonment of a public road of the county, direct the <br />county highway superintendent . . . to study the use being made of such public road <br />and to submit in writing to the county board within thirty days, a report upon the <br />study made and his or her recommendation as to the vacation or abandonment <br />thereot: Said resolution and report shall be retained in the office of the county clerk as <br />a part of the permanent public records of the county board; PROVIDED, that the <br />county board shall not require vacation or abandonment of any public road or any <br />part thereof which is within the area of the zoning jurisdiction of a city of the <br />metropolitan, primary, or first class without the prior approval of the governing body <br />of such city. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hall County Highway Superintendent is hereby <br />directed to study the use being made of the aforesaid road and to submit within 30 days hereof his <br />recommendations as to the vacation or abandonment of said road. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED nn&d'2DAY OF JULY, 1997. <br /> <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF <br />SUPERVIS S <br />.I)X~ <br /> <br />H.
