Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Chairman Long called for public <br />participation and no one responded. <br /> <br />PREFERRED MAIL NEW FEDERAL GUIDE LINES: A letter was received <br />from Preferred Mail regarding changes on the address correction <br />standards. Landis made a motion and Stelk seconded not to <br />participate in this service because of the costs involved. <br />Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />TOWER COMMITTEE REPORT - COMMUNICATIONS TOWER BIDS: Stelk read <br />the tower committee report recommending the proposal from Victor <br />Aufdemberge in the amount of $2,300.00 for the architectural <br />services for the communications equipment building and the bid of <br />Platte Valley communications in the amount of $58,894.00 for a <br />300 foot strob lighted communications tower. These funds were in <br />the keno budget for 1996 to 1997 budget year and will be budgeted <br />again this yes. Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to <br />accept the recommendation. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Hartman <br />absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />REPORT FROM HALL COUNTY TREASURER ON THE 1995 AND 1994 <br />UNCOLLECTED DELINQUENT TAXES: Landis made a motion and Stelk <br />seconded to accept and place on file. Abernethy, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, <br />with Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:00A.M.
