<br />91 F~'1() <br /> <br />< <br /> <br />OFFICE REPORT OF THE CLERK OF THE DISTRICT COURT <br />June 1997 <br /> <br />Fees <br /> <br />$3,937.10 <br /> <br />OFFICE REPORT OF THE REGISTER OF DEEDS <br />MONTH OF JUNE 1997 <br />Documentary stamps $ 5,301.09 <br />Recording fees $12,979.00 <br />Photo fees $ 833.20 <br /> <br />FUNDING FOR NRD DIVISION CHANNEL: Milt Moravek, with Central Plat <br />NRD, presented information to the Board members on the increase <br />of cost for the Lower Wood River/Upper Warm Slough. Mr. Moravek <br />explained that the levies will need to be wider resulting in <br />additional right-of-way land, lengthen of the bridges and longer <br />approaches. The original estimate was $11,835,300.00 and now the <br />currant estimate is $17,740,000.00. This will result in an <br />increase of $86,541.00 for Hall County over a 3-year period. The <br />local costs are paid up front and only the actual costs are paid. <br />The local contractors do the work. Landis stated she had <br />attended a meeting with NRD and felt that Hall County has gone to <br />far to back out now. Moravek also stated Hall County would have <br />another $50,000.00 in loan interest costs. Stelk made a motion <br />and Abernethy seconded to budget $117,612.00 including interest <br />for the Wood River Warm Slough project. Abernethy, Landis, <br />Lancaster, Long and Stelk all voted yes and Quandt voted no, with <br />Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ACCEPT PETITION TO EXCLUDE PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TRACT: It was <br />stated that action on that this agenda item could only be taken <br />in an even number year. Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded <br />to accept the petition, place on file and refer to the County <br />Attorney for recommendation. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and STELK all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />ACCEPT AND PLACE ON FILE DEPOSITORY LIST: Stelk made a motion and <br />Landis seconded to accept and place on file the depository list <br />as certified by the Hall County Clerk. Abernethy, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />ACCEPT REPORT FROM THE HALL COUNTY TREASURER: The annual report <br />by the County Treasurer of real estate and special assessments on <br />which any taxes are delinquent and which were not sold at the <br />annual tax sale was received. Stelk made a motion and Landis <br />seconded to accept and place the report on file. Abernethy, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no, with Hartman absent.
