9;/;~3~ FINAL PLATS FOR LONOWSKI SUBDIVISION AND AMUNDSEN SUBDIVISON: , Stelk made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve the final plats for Lonowski and Amundsen Subdivision and authorized the Chair to sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. CHANGE OF REZONING FOR C-9-97GI: Dave Barber, Regional Planning Director, distributed maps of the area showing the requesting rezoning. This is request to build a home and the rezoning would create a softer transitional edge. The Regional Planning Commission recommended changing the zoning from M2-Heavy Manufacturing to B2-General Business Zone. Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the rezoning of C-9-97GI to B2- General Business Zone. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. CHANGE OF REZONING FOR C-14-97GI: This is a request to rezone from M1-Light Manufacturing to M2-Heavy Manufacturing. The 10 acres would be used for an insurance salvage pool of damaged vehicles. The Regional Planning Commission recommended not to approve the rezoning request. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to follow the Regional Planning Commission's recommendation to deny the rezoning of C-14-97GI. Quandt stated t,hat he felt the individual requesting the rezoning should have been notified to state his reasons. Janulewicz stated that this property is in the City limits. Lancaster called for the question. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Stelk all voted yes and Quandt voted no. Motion Carried. SIGN AGREEMENTS FOR PROJECT RPTC40H198: This agreement is for the Federal and State Public Transportation Operating Assistance program. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to authorize the Chair to sign the agreements. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. PRIOR UNCOLLECTED DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES: The list of 1994 and 1995 prior delinquent personal property taxes and 1996 accelerated and prior delinquent property taxes was submitted by Hall County Treasurer Doris Mason. Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to accept and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen included her progress report in the packets. She requested authorization to give out some names from the bank of volunteers to the Housing Authority. The board authorized her do give out the names. COUNTY BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Stelk - She attended the committee meeting on the Safety Center last Tuesday and there will be a Health Board meeting July 8. Quandt - None Landis - She attended a meeting with NRD and received information on projects costs. She also attended the Senior Citizens meeting and will attend a tower committee meeting Thursday. Hartman - He attended a meeting at Mid-Plains and will have a tower meeting on Thursday. 11:15 a.m. Abernethy made a motion and Stelk seconded to go into a Board of Equalization meeting. Abernethy Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. 11:35 a.m. Stelk made a motion Board of Equalization meeting. Lancaster,Landis, Long, Quandt voted no. Motion carried. and Landis seconded to go out of Abernethy, Hartman, and Stelk all voted yes and none Lancaster - She attended the audit committee meeting. Abernethy - She attended the audit committee meeting, the 125th anniversary of Grand Island, the July 4 celebration at Stuhr Museum and the Heartland Vision meeting. L/
