<br />9;/;~3~ <br /> <br />FINAL PLATS FOR LONOWSKI SUBDIVISION AND AMUNDSEN SUBDIVISON: <br />, Stelk made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve the final <br />plats for Lonowski and Amundsen Subdivision and authorized the <br />Chair to sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />CHANGE OF REZONING FOR C-9-97GI: Dave Barber, Regional Planning <br />Director, distributed maps of the area showing the requesting <br />rezoning. This is request to build a home and the rezoning <br />would create a softer transitional edge. The Regional Planning <br />Commission recommended changing the zoning from M2-Heavy <br />Manufacturing to B2-General Business Zone. Stelk made a motion <br />and Quandt seconded to approve the rezoning of C-9-97GI to B2- <br />General Business Zone. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />CHANGE OF REZONING FOR C-14-97GI: This is a request to rezone <br />from M1-Light Manufacturing to M2-Heavy Manufacturing. The 10 <br />acres would be used for an insurance salvage pool of damaged <br />vehicles. The Regional Planning Commission recommended not to <br />approve the rezoning request. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster <br />seconded to follow the Regional Planning Commission's <br />recommendation to deny the rezoning of C-14-97GI. Quandt stated <br />t,hat he felt the individual requesting the rezoning should have <br />been notified to state his reasons. Janulewicz stated that this <br />property is in the City limits. Lancaster called for the <br />question. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Stelk <br />all voted yes and Quandt voted no. Motion Carried. <br /> <br />SIGN AGREEMENTS FOR PROJECT RPTC40H198: This agreement is for the <br />Federal and State Public Transportation Operating Assistance <br />program. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to authorize <br />the Chair to sign the agreements. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />PRIOR UNCOLLECTED DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES: The list of 1994 and <br />1995 prior delinquent personal property taxes and 1996 <br />accelerated and prior delinquent property taxes was submitted by <br />Hall County Treasurer Doris Mason. Stelk made a motion and <br />Landis seconded to accept and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen included her progress <br />report in the packets. She requested authorization to give out <br />some names from the bank of volunteers to the Housing Authority. <br />The board authorized her do give out the names. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: <br />Stelk - She attended the committee meeting on the Safety Center <br />last Tuesday and there will be a Health Board meeting July 8. <br /> <br />Quandt - None <br /> <br />Landis - She attended a meeting with NRD and received information <br />on projects costs. She also attended the Senior Citizens meeting <br />and will attend a tower committee meeting Thursday. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended a meeting at Mid-Plains and will have a <br />tower meeting on Thursday. <br /> <br />11:15 a.m. Abernethy made a motion and Stelk seconded to go into <br />a Board of Equalization meeting. Abernethy Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />11:35 a.m. Stelk made a motion <br />Board of Equalization meeting. <br />Lancaster,Landis, Long, Quandt <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />and Landis seconded to go out of <br />Abernethy, Hartman, <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the audit committee meeting. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended the audit committee meeting, the 125th <br />anniversary of Grand Island, the July 4 celebration at Stuhr <br />Museum and the Heartland Vision meeting. <br /> <br />L/ <br />
