<br />refer them to the Public Works Committee and the Public Works
<br />Director. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and
<br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />CENTRON AGREEMENT: Jerry Janulewicz stated that Howard Maxon
<br />referred this contract to him to review. This is the same
<br />contract with the State of Nebraska and US West Communications
<br />that the schools, county offices and state offices have used. He
<br />recommended the board approve the contract and authorize the
<br />Chair to sign. Stelk made a motion and Hartman seconded to
<br />approve the contract with Centron and authorize the Chair to
<br />sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and
<br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />TORT CLAIM: The tort claim from Earl Mitchell was received.
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz recommended that the
<br />board table the claim. Lancaster made a motion and Hartman
<br />seconded to receive the claim and table it for further
<br />information
<br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all
<br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO.4: This
<br />agreement is between Hall County, EA Engineering Science and
<br />Technology Inc. for an additional sum of $1,200.00 for the final
<br />Environmental Impact Statement. Abernethy made a motion and
<br />Stelk seconded to authorize the Chair to sign. Abernethy,
<br />Lancaster, Landis, Long and Stelk all voted yes and Quandt voted
<br />no. Hartman abstained from the voted. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />ACCEPT PETITION TO VACATE ROAD FROM KENNETH WINFREY: Stelk made
<br />a motion and Landis seconded to accept the petition and refer it
<br />to Daniel Hostler, Public Works Director, for study. Abernethy,
<br />Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes
<br />and none voted no. Motion carried.
