Motion by Hartman, seconded by Stelk to approve payment of <br />claim for Diesel Fuel Tax. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />General Fund Claim to Hall County Sheriff's Department for fees account <br />$350.76 for fees for February fees. Motion by Abernethy, seconded by <br />Quandt to approve payment of claim for sheriff's fees. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY: The following written committee <br />report and recommendation was discussed. <br /> <br />The Insurance Committee met April 1, 1997, and discussed a <br />question concerning coverage for a dependent child's pregnancy. <br />Our previous plan provided this coverage. <br /> <br />The committee recommends to amend our currant policy with the <br />following amendment. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT #=2 <br /> <br />COVERED EXPENSES - ADD: <br /> <br />Expenses for pregnancy and delivery for an employee's covered <br />dependent child shall be covered. However, the only expenses <br />eligilble will be those of the mother. Expenses related to the <br />~~Charges. will not be covered. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />/C~~ LD <br /> <br /> <br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Landis to adopt Amendment #2 as recommended by <br />committee and authorize chairman to sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ELECTRICAL WIRING AT COUNTY PARK: Charles Kaufman, Park Superintendent <br />reported on the gopher damage to electrical wiring at the Park. He requested <br />repairs to wiring to bathhouse and also well at the same time. He had received <br />proposals from four companies and read the follwing quotes. <br />Affordable El~ctric Bath house $5190. plus well $2992. total $8182. <br />Heartland Electric bath house $3250. plus well $2500. total $5750. <br />Lees Electric bath house $4760. plus well $2655. total $7415. <br />A-I Electric bath house $4564. plus well $3589. total $8153. <br />Kaufman recommends accepting the low bid proposal from Heartland Electric. <br />
