The applicant must verify that the proposed confinement facility or feedlot meets the license <br />requirements and waste disposal requirements of the State of Nebraska; <br /> <br />2. A hog confinement facility (including earthen ponds, lagoons and the livestock confinement <br />area) shall be set back a minimum distance of 5, 280 feet from an existing dwelling (other than <br />those of the feedlot owner/operator), a church, a school, recreational camps, parks, <br />playgrounds, golf courses, country clubs, tennis courts, riding academies and other similar <br />recreational uses. <br /> <br />3. A confined feeding facility or feedlot for animals other than hogs (including earthen ponds, <br />lagoons and the livestock confinement area) shall be set back a minimum distance of 1,320 <br />feet from an existing dwelling (other than those of the feedlot owner/operator), a church, a <br />school, recreational camps, parks, playgrounds, golf courses, country clubs, tennis courts, <br />riding academies and other similar recreational uses; <br /> <br />4.
