<br />9aFQ~\.(t) <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution <br />#98-00166 approving a rail crossing safety plan for the Burlington <br />Northern-Santa Fe Railroad. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98- 60 t, <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A RAIL CROSSING SAFETY PLAN <br />FOR THE BURLINGTON NORTHERN - SANTA FE RAILROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors voted to approve a rail crossing safety plan wherein <br />certain county road - rail road crossings would be closed and others would be relocated and or improved with the <br />addition of crossing gates and lights; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors desires to formalize its prior action with the <br />adoption of this resolution. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, the rail crossing safety plan as described in exhibit "A," which is attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby approved. The Chairman of the Hall County <br />Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to execute, in the name of and on behalf of the County of Hall, an <br />agreement with the State of Nebraska Department of Roads and the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Rail Road <br />in accordance with the plan description contained in exhibit "A." <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, the following county road - Burlington Northern and Santa Fe rail <br />crossings shall be closed as part of the project described herein: <br /> <br />. DOT #083067K <br />. DOT#083061U, Abbott Road <br />. DOT#083254J, White Cloud Road <br />.
