<br />q!?.?' ~dL6~1 <br /> <br />seconded to approve Resolution #98-0042 requesting the sale of <br />residential buildings and farm house site at the Cornhusker Army <br />Ammunition Plant. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. Landis stated that the residential houses can be moved <br />and the farm site ~ill be sold with 5 acres. <br /> <br />RESOL UTION #98- L2t31.:::1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SALE OF RESIDENTIAL BUlLDINGS <br />AND FARM HOUSE SITE <br />AT THE CORNHUSKER ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Law 103-337, sec. 2836 authorizes the Secretary of the Army <br />to convey to the Hall County Nebraska Board of Supervisors or its designee all right, title <br />and interest of the United States in and to the real property that is the site of the <br />Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant, hereinafter referred to as "CAAP," for fair market <br />value, said property to be used in a manner consistent with the CAAP Reuse Committee's <br />Comprehensive Reuse Plan, hereinafter referred to as the "Reuse Plan"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 30, 1998, the Comhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse <br />Committee adopted a motion recommending that the following described property be sold <br />by the Army Corps of Engineers to the highest bidder(s) by public sale, to wit: <br /> <br />A.) ER2, ER5, ER9, ER13, RG2, RG6 (Residential housing units and garages only, to be <br />removed from CAAP by the purchaser(s). <br /> <br />B.) Farmhouse located on five acre site (Department of the Army Parcel Number 38), to <br />be used for agricultural, conservation, and! or recreational uses consistent with the <br />Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse Plan. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOL YED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby requests <br />that the above described property be sold to the highest bidder or bidders by competitive <br />public sales conducted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, said property to be <br />used in a manner or manners consistent with this resolution and the Cornhusker Army <br />Ammunition Plant Reuse Plan. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MOVED BY x&z1~f f{?( 1-?'f~1I <br />SECONDEDBY '1llC//cjC'}(;( ~~/-' <br /> <br />Vote: <br />Irene Abernethy: <br />Richard Hartman: <br />Pamela Lancaster: <br />Margaret Landis: <br />H.
