Janulewicz Deputy Hall County Attorney ADOPT RESOLUTION ASSIGNING THE DUTIES FOR ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES AND ESTABLISHING DAILY STORAGE FEES: Hall County does not have a policy regarding the sale of the abandoned vehicles by the Hall County Sheriff's Department. This resolution will establish the structure for assigning the Hall County Sheriff's office to remove abandoned vehicles, authorize the sale of the vehicles and set a daily storage. Quandt made a motion and Abernethy seconded to approve Resolution #98-0038 assigning duties for abandoned motor vehicles. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #98- f)tJ3S A RESOLUTION ASSIGNING DUTIES FOR ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES; AUTHORIZING DISPOSITIONS AND SALES OF ABANDONED l.\'IOTOR VEHICLES; AND ESTABLISHING STORAGE FEES. WHEREAS Nebraska Revised Statutes ~~ 60-1901, et seq., provides that local authorities such as ~ities, villages, and counties are responsible for the removal and disposition of motor vehicles that are abandoned on public or private property within the jurisdiction of the local authority; and
