<br />f% I::; tJ./q~ <br /> <br />Quandt - He attended the ADA meeting and next week there <br />will be a Mid-land Area Agency on Aging meeting, a building <br />and grounds committee meeting and they are working on the <br />courthouse problems and the parking problems. He also <br />reported that NRD has planted some trees at the AIda Park. <br /> <br />Long - He attended the prison site inspection on April 16 <br />when the site selection committee was here. He attended the <br />Stuhr Museum Board meeting, the building and grounds <br />committee meeting, a CNCS meeting in Loup City and the <br />Republican forum and will attend the KRGI public forum for <br />the District #5 supervisor candidates. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She attended the building and grounds committee <br />meeting and the meeting with Jerry Janulewicz, Rod Bass and <br />Marvin Webb on the addition to Mid-Plains Center. She <br />attended the Stuhr Museum art recognition day and encouraged <br />people to view the art exhibit at Stuhr of students from <br />local high-schools and middle .schools. She also attended <br />the regular College Park board meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended the Republican forum. <br /> <br />TAX CORREECTION NOTICES: Deputy County Assessor Joann Tagge <br />presented tax correction notices #1874 to #1897. Quandt <br />made a motion and Landis seconded to authorize the Chair to <br />initial tax correction notices #1874 to #1897. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes <br />and none voted no. Motion carried. Stelk was absent. <br /> <br />The letter from Kenny Mohr concerning the drainage problem <br />was discussed. A memo will be sent to Dan Hostler <br />concerning this. <br /> <br />Doris Mason, County Treasurer requested to go back into the <br />Board of Equalization meeting. Long made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to return to the Board of Equalization <br />meeting. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and <br />Quandt voted yes and none voted no, with Stelk absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMENCE AUDIT OF MONTHLY CLAIMS: 11:27 a.m. started the <br />claim audit. <br /> <br />ACTION ON CLAIM AUDIT: 12:00 p.m. Long made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to approve all claims as audited and <br />authorize the county clerk to pay them. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none <br />voted n~ with Stelk absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recessed at 12:00 p.m. for lunch. <br /> <br />1:30 p.m. returned to regular session. <br />
