<br />q~N~ <br /> <br />APRPOVE AGREEMENTS OF BRO 7040(19) WOOD RIVER WEST WITH US <br />WEST COMMUNICATIONS: Stelk made a motion and Long seconded <br />to approve the right-of-way agreements and authorize the <br />Chairman to sign on project BRO 7040(19) with US West <br />Communications. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE ENGINEERING AGREEMENTS FOR BOX CULVERTS, ASPHALT <br />PROJECTS AND BRIDGE PROJECTS: Landis made a motion and <br />Abernethy seconded to approve the box culvert bid from Brady <br />Engineering Co., Inc., for $5,740.00, the asphalt projects <br />from Rockwell & Associates for $7,200.00 and the bridge <br />project from Olsson Associates for $9,995.00. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Gene Domincek, 321 East First, <br />requested to speak to the County Board. He urged the board <br />to show unification and cooperation regardless of the vote. <br />He stated it was not an example of unification when the <br />board changed their minds on putting the prison issue to a <br />vote of the people. Lancaster stated the board wanted to put <br />it to a vote but it would be after the decision was made. He <br />stated some issues are not being addressed and the judicial <br />system is failing. There needs to be rehabilitation for the <br />offenders and everyone needs to take the responsibility. <br />Landis stated that parents also need to take responsibility <br />for their children. Domincek stated Hall County needs to <br />address the violent crimes and gangs. Abernethy thanked Mr. <br />Domincek for corning. <br /> <br />10:00 a.m. PUBLIC HEARING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR RICHARD WERTZ <br />FONNER VIEW GOLF: Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded <br />to open the public hearing. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chairman Hartman called for public participation and no one <br />responded. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to close the public <br />hearing. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br />liquor license for Richard Wertz, Fonner View Golf. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
