Discussion was held. <br /> Mr. Quandt expressed concern that we do not have an ordinance regarding the nude dancing <br /> and he asked if there are other regulations. Ms. Rogers stated that there are 3 licensed <br /> establishments that allow dancing and serve alcohol. �ne does not have any complaints and <br /> the ather 2 have numerous problems. The Edge does not serve alcohol but th�re are problems. <br /> She also stated that this information from the investigation was not completed until late last <br /> night and she has not talked ta the Sheriff regarding it. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called far public participation for all those opposed to granting the liquor <br /> license for the �dge. No comments. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded ta close the public hearing. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Arnold seconded to deny the application for the liquar license for the <br /> Edge, The information received from Ms. Rogers noted the concerns. Discussion was held and <br /> the motion was changed to recommend denial of the liquor license. <br /> Ms. Horta requested to comment. Lancaster stated that sh� clearly called far public comment to <br /> speak on behalf of approving the license and no one came forward. <br /> Mr. Arnold stated that after the repork he could not approve the license. <br /> Mr. Ziola stated that the process was open and fair. <br /> The matter is closed. <br /> The vote on the motian to recommend denial of the license was taken. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt Schuppan and Ziola all vated yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Ziola seconded to add that the reason for the denial of the <br /> application was the false information on the application the ownership appears to be the same <br /> as it was before and the evidence that was brought farward. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 10:45 a.m. returned to the Board of Corrections meeting. <br /> 10:55 a. m. adjourned the Board of Corrections meeting.
