Ms Rogers nated the following issues according to the application that was submitted: • Ms. Horta stated her home address is in l.exington, NE • The previous application for a liquor license was issued to the L� Davidson Corporation as the sole owner • At that time Maria Davidson was working at the Edge • Question #�6 asks if there is any other person that shares the profits of the business or a silent partner it stated no • Question #10 asks the name of the business bank and it is Five Points Bank in the name of Maria Maria lnc dba as The Edge Maria Davidson is on the account • Maria Davidson is the president of the corporatian and Ms Horta is the secretary • The account currently has a balance of$30.47 and there is no recard of business deposits or rent payments through the account • Th� checking accounthas the names of Maria Davidson and Adriana Horta on it • She interviewed Ms. Davidson and she stated that she rented the business and the furnishings • She also stated that Ms. Horta runs the day to day business • The utilities are still in the name of LE Davidson Corp but it is no longer a corporation • The business plan is to obtain a liquor license • She noted the I�ase and the amended lease agreement it stated that the rent is $3,000.00 with a $5,aQ0.00 deposit and they stated th�y paid $2,200.00 with no deposit � Ms. Harta stated she was unemployed and works for tips Ms. Rogers stated that she would recommend not approving the license in her opinion after the investigation this is a false application with a silent partner. She also stated that the sheriff would abide by her recommendation. Mr. Ziola questioned th�fact that the ch�cking account daes not show any wages or expenses paid out of the account. Ms. Rogers said they stated it was paid by tips. Mr. McFarland questioned who filled out the application and if the attorney who filled out th� application could be contacted. Mr Arnold stated that his comments were prior to these findings and he questioned Ms. Rogers if the application and the discrepancies were cleaned up wauld she recommend denying the application.
