OFFICE REPORT <br /> HALL COUNTY REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> OFFICE REPORT <br /> DECEMBER 2012 <br /> DOCUMENTARY STAMP FEES $ 19,724.02 <br /> RECORDING FEES $ 26,113.00 <br /> PHOTO COPIES $ 65.00 <br /> 1A) COUNTY CLERK CALLS FOR NOMINATIONS OF 2013 COUNTY BOARD CHAIRMAN — <br /> Hall County Clerk Marla Conley called for nominations for the Chairman of th� Hall County <br /> Board of Supervisors for 2013. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded by unanimous decision to retain Pamela <br /> Lancaster as the Chairman and Dan Purdy as Vice Chairman. He stated that he thinks the <br /> Chair and the Vice Chair have a good working relationship and does not see any reason to <br /> change. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster thank�d the board and stated this is the best board she has worked with. <br /> 9:p5 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 9:45 a.m. Adjourned the Board of �qualization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 9:45 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting. <br /> 10:Oa a.m. Recessed the Board of Corrections meeting to hold the public hearing for the Edge. <br /> 7. 10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE EDG� Quandt made a motian <br /> and Ziola seconded to apen the public hearing for th� Edge. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called for public participation for all those in favor of granting the liquor <br /> license for the �dge. No one responded. <br /> Mr Arnold stated that as chair of the criminal justice committee he questioned what the thoughts <br /> of the Sheriff's Department regarding the request for the license. Chris Rea responded that <br /> there was no reason to not approve the license. There are concerns on the nude dancing <br /> causing problems and h� pointed out that with the liquor license there are more requirements <br /> for monitoring by law enforcement over the current amusement license. So his pasition was <br /> that he daes not oppase the granting of the license. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called for public participation for all those in favor of granting the liquor <br /> license for the Edge. No one responded. <br /> Eunice Glause, 7501 South Highway 281, Grand Island, stated that she has a barber shop at <br /> Bosselmans and has been there for 10 years. She has followed this in the paper and <br /> expressed concern on the fact that she may suffer repercussions because she has come <br /> forward.
