<br />'19990536 <br /> <br />Arnold made a motion and Logan seconded to only add items to the December 28 agenda <br />that have been approved by the county board chairman. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT TO STUHR MUSEUM BOARD: A letter was received from the Hall <br />County Museum Board recommending that Doyle Hulme be appointed to the Museum <br />board to fill the remainder of the term of Mrs. Karen Brasee. Lancaster made a motion <br />and Stelk seconded to approve the appointment of Doyle Hulme to fill the remainder of <br />the term of Karen Brasee. It was questioned why applications were not taken for this <br />position and Lancaster explained that this was to complete a term not a new appointment. <br />Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to table the appointment. Arnold, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster, Logan and Stelk all voted no and Landis and Hartman voted yes. Motion <br />failed. The vote on the motion to appoint Doyle Hulme was taken. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and Landis abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT TO EXTENSION BOARD: Tammie Stelk serves on the extension <br />board and the extension board recommends to appoint Jolene Harvey and Roger Steele to <br />a three year term and Lori Boughton be appointed to a two year term. Stelk made a <br />motion and Logan seconded to appoint Jolene Harvey and Roger Steele to three-year <br />terms and Lori Boughton to a two-year term. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11 :07 a.m. Logan made a motion and Landis seconded to go back into executive session <br />regarding personnel. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />12:20 p.m. recessed for lunch <br /> <br />1:35 p.m. returned to executive session <br /> <br />4: 1 0 p.m. Lancaster made a motion and Stelk seconded to go out of executive session. <br />Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY DISCUSSION REGARDING TENANT ON COUNTY <br />OWEND PROPERTY IN SEC. 22, TlON, R9W: This is a piece of property that, <br />because of the South Locust project, will not have public access to it. It is required that <br />the tenant receives six months notice of acquisition of the property so he may vacate. <br />The board recommended waiting with the notice to the tenant. <br /> <br />DISCUSS AND APPROVE EXCHANGE OF DEEDS TO RE-ESTABLISH THE <br />BOUNDARY BETWEEN STUHR MUSEUM AND HALL COUANTY PARK: Deputy <br />County attorney had presented this matter to the county board in 1998 concerning the <br />boundary line changes caused by the rechanneling of the Wood River. Quick Claim <br />deeds have been prepared to effect this change in the land ownership between the <br />Museum and the Hall County Park. It will also simplify the NRD's purchase of <br />
