It has been questioned if the acquisition of these <br />tracts could be classified for education purposes and if so they <br />could be obtained at no cost. Landis expressed concern that this <br />type of acquisition was a long-shot and that A.I.N. could not <br />qualify for this type of acquisition. Hartman stated the <br />original purpose of the reuse plane was to get the property back <br />on the tax roles. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion to glve A.I.N. an opportunity to research and <br />contact the representatives about changing the law for the <br />acquisition of the tracts at no cost. Motion failed no second. <br /> <br />Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to approve Resolution <br />99-0024 requesting the sale of parcels #42, 42, 44, 55, 56 and 57 <br />at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Landis and Logan all voted yes and Stelk voted no with <br />Lancaster abstaining. Motion carried. <br />
