~199901.79 RESOLUTION #98-~4 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SALE OF PARCELS # 41, 42, 44, 55, 56, AND 57 AT THE CORNHUSKER ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT WHEREAS, Public Law 103-337, sec. 2836 authorizes the Secretary of the Army to convey to the Hall County Nebraska Board of Supervisors or its designee all right, title and interest of the United States in and to the real property that is the site of the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant, hereinafter referred to as "CAAP," for fair market value, said property to be used in a manner consistent with the CAAP Reuse Conunittee's Comprehensive Reuse Plan, hereinafter referred to as the "Reuse Plan"; and WHEREAS, on July 30, 1998, the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse Committee adopted a motion recommending that the following described property be sold by the Army Corps of Engineers to the highest bidder(s) by public sale, to wit: Parcel num~ers 41,42,44, 55, 56, and 57 as depicted in exhibit "A/' attached hereto; NOW BE IT RESOL VED, the Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby requests that the above described property be sold to the highest bidder or bidders by competitive public sales conducted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, said property to be used in a manner or manners consistent with this resolution and the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant Reuse Plan. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that said parcels be surveyed by the County with the cost of said survey charged by the Corps of Engineers to the purchasers of said parcels.
