<br />~19990091 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPLICATION FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION <br />ASSISTANCE FUNDS; APPROVING SENIOR CITIZENS INDUSTRIES, INC. AS <br />A SUBCONTRACTOR; AND APPROVING AN AGREEl\1ENT FOR <br />DISCOUNTED CAB TICKET PROGRAM <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98- CffO(}/o <br /> <br />1 t< $' <br />r:> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funds are available under Section 5311 of the Federal Transit Act, as <br />amended, and the Nebraska Public Transportation Act, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Senior Citizens Industries, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, <br />desires to apply for said funds to be used to provide public transportation in Hall County <br />with special emphasis on meeting the needs of the elderly and disabled persons. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED that the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors has reviewed the applications of the County of Hall prepared by Senior <br />Citizens Industries, Inc. for said funds and does hereby certify that Senior Citizens <br />Industries, Inc. is considered to be capable of providing public transportation for persons of <br />Hall County pursuant to a subcontract agreement with the County of Hall and an <br />agreement for discounted cab ticket program which are hereby approved by the Hall <br />County Board of Supervisors.
