Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster stated that there was no actian to be taken from the executive session. <br /> 5B DISCUSS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN RESOLUTION AND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> FRACTURE CRITICAL BRIDGE INSPECTIONS — County Surveyor Casey Sherlock was <br /> present and stated that there is currently an inspection regarding the soft match funds. There <br /> were errors faund so until the balances are reviewed the soft match dollars cannot be used for <br /> any projects like this one. Hall County has $707,481.00 in soft match funds. This inspection <br /> was to be completed by Febnaary 1, 2012. The bridge inspections are 75% complete and if we <br /> sign the agreement the county has to come up wi#h $5,000.00. Discussion was held if the <br /> county can da our own inspections and Casey stated that we can but it would be a site <br /> inspectian. The state uses technology to do the inspections so their inspections wauld be more <br /> thorough <br /> � <br /> li LancastEr question if we did the inspections and something would happen would the county <br /> I � have same liability and Casey stated that he is no sure what wauld happen.
