<br />An ozdinaace to extend the boundaries and include within the corporate limits
<br />of, and to annex to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, certain contiguous and adjacent
<br />tracts of land and streets and highways in the East Half (E~}) of Section Eleven (11),~
<br />Township Eleven (11} North, Range Nine (9) West of the bth P.M„ and the West Half
<br />` (W$) of Section Twelve (12), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the
<br />6th P.M., in Hall County, Nebraska; to provide for service benefits thereto; to
<br />provide sevezability; and to confirm the zoning classification thereof,
<br />- SBV, IT ORDAINED ~BY TkL, MAYOR AND COllNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br />SECTION 1. IC is hereby found and determined by such City Council that:
<br />(a} The tract of land and streets and highways in the Easc Half (E~,)
<br />- o£ Section Eleven (11), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine {9) West
<br />of the 6th P.M., and the West llalf (W~) of Section Twelve (12), Township
<br />Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6ch P.M., in Hall County,
<br />Nebraska, as hereinafter more particularly described, are urban and sub-
<br />uibnn in character and contiguous and adjacent to the corporate limits of
<br />aueh City and as urban and suburban in character are-not agricultural land
<br />rural in character;
<br />(G) Folicc, Fire, and snow removal benefits are available thereto,
<br />and sanitary sewer and public water service will 6e available as provided
<br />by law;
<br />(c} The zoning classification of such tract of land as .,hvm on the
<br />- official zoning map of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby
<br />confirmed;
<br />(d) There is a unity of interest in the use of such trace of land
<br />and highways with the use of Lots, lands, streets, and highways in the Cicy,
<br />and the community convenience and welfare and the Interest of such City
<br />vi21 be enhanced through incorporating such lands and streets and high-
<br />. ways within the corporate limits of such City,
<br />SECTION 2, That the boundaries of the City o£ Grand Island, Nebraska, be, and
<br />hereby are, extended to include within the corporate Limits of such Cicy the contiguous
<br />and adjacent tract o£ land and streets and highways in the Easc half (E;~) o£ Section
<br />$Ieven (11), Tawmship Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P,M., and
<br />' the West Half (Wk) o£ Section ?Welve {12), Township Eleven {11) North, Range Nine
