<br /> <br />ORDINANCE N0. 6521 <br />- An ordinance to extend the boundaries and include within the corporate limits <br />of, and to annex.to Che City of Crand Island, Nebraska, certain contiguous and adjacent <br />tracts of land and streets and highways in the Wes[ Half of the Southwest Quarter <br />' (W§SW}) of Section Twenty-two (22), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (4) West <br />of the 6th P.M., Hall County, ,Nebraska; to prnvide for service benefits-thereto; to <br />provide severability; and to confirm the zoning classification thereof. <br />Br Im ORDAINED BY THE *tAYOR AND CCU27CIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEI;RASKA: <br />SECTION 1, Ic is hereby found and determined by such City Council that: <br />- (a) The tract of land and streecs and highways in the West Half of <br />[he Southwest Quarter (W~,SW.) of Section Twenty-two (22), To•nship Eleven <br />(llj North, Range Nine (4) West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, as <br />hereinafter more particularly described, err urban and suburban in character <br />and contiguous and adjacene to the corporate limits of such City and as <br />urban and suburban in character are not agricultural land rural in character; <br />(b) Police, fire, and snow removal benefits are avaLLable thereto, <br />and sanitary sewer and public water service will be available as pro- <br />. vlded by law; <br />(c) The zoning classification of such tract of land as shown on the <br />official coning nap of the Gity of Grand Island, 2ebraska, is hereby <br />evnfirmcd; <br />. - (d} T-nere is a unity of interest 1n the use of sueh tract of land <br />and highways with the use of lots, lands, streets, and highways in [he <br />City, and the community convenience and welfare and the interest of such <br />• City will be enhanced through incorporating such lands and streets and <br />highways within the corporate limits of such City. <br />SECTION 2.
