80-..3 ~~~'~ ORDINANCE N0. 6526 An ordinance to extend the boundaries and include within the corporate limits of, and to annex to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, certain contiguous and adjacent tracts of land and streets and highways fn part of the Southeast Quarter (SE}) of Section Twenty-eight (28), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M., Nall County, Nebraska; to provide for service benefits thereto; to provide aeverability; and to confirm the zoning classification thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COi1NCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRAS'dA: -~ SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined by such City Council chat: (a) The tract of land and streets and highways in part o: the Southeast Quarter (SEA) of Section 28, Township 11 North, Range 9 West of the 6th P.M-, Flail County, Nebraska, as hereinafter more particularly described; are urban and suburban in character and contiguous and adjacent to the corporate limits of such City and as urban and suburban in character are not agricultural land rural in character; (b) Police, fire, and snow removal benefits are available thereto, and sanitary sewer and public water service will be available as provided i c by law; . (c) The zoning classification of such tract of land as shown on the official zoning map of the City of Grand TsLand, Nebraska, is hereby confirmed; (d) There is a unity of interest in the use of such trace of land and highways with the use of lots, lands, streets, and highways in the City, and the community convenience and welfare and the interest of such Clty will be enhanced through incorporating such lands and streets and high- , ways within the corporate limits of such City, SECTION 2. That the boundaries of the City of Crand Island, [tebraska, bey, and hereby are, extended to 2nclude within the corporate limits of such City the contiguous and adjacent tract of land and streets and highways in part of the Southeast Quarter . (SEA) of Section 7.8, Township 11 North, Range 9 West of the 6th P.M., ball County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of said Southeast Quarter (SEA) of Section Twenty-eight (28) and seventy-two and Your-tenths (72.4) feet North of the South line o,t said Southeast Quarter (SEi) of Section Twenty-eight (28), said point also being on the North right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 34; thence North on the West line of said Scuehease Quarter (5E :} to the South line of the Replat of Riverside Acres; thence deflecting right seventy-three degrees forty-two minutes (730 42') and running northeasterly along the southerly line of the Replat oz River- side Acres, a distance of eight hundred (800) feet; thence defier ing , N 8 13~~ j - ,. . -. .. .... - - LEGAL DEPAR fM_
