Glixon: Mr. Conley noted that Mr. Dixon was ending a long tenure on the <br />Wesl~an Board of Gavernors ~=-:d long service as chairman of the Property <br />Committee, during wizict; time nine new buildings were erected, three removed, <br />and many campus improvements made. <br />Mr. Conley moved that the following resalution be spread upon the minutes of <br />the Board of Governors and canveyed to Mr. Dixon: <br />R~SGLVf=D, That the Poard of Gavernars of rlebraska Wesleyan <br />Univer_ity expre>-se` its appr~iation and gratitude to Don E. Qixon <br />fair his faithful, long, and dedicated service as a member of the <br />Hoard of Trustees and utie Board of Governors of the University and <br />as chairman of the Property Committti~e of the Board, during Lvhich <br />time his extraordinary oewtion and service resulted in the construc- <br />tion of nine new buildings, t+re removal of three buildings, and ttze <br />campletian of rraanv mainfies,anr-e and cam~_~= beautification cro~ec- <br />on the campus. <br />The motion was seconded and approved. <br />Judge Urtiom rated-that Mr_ Dixon would be serving as a nan-board of Governors <br />merrier o~n tiae Committee on Financial Affairs and would be actively involved in <br />the finisi~ing of the Speech aril Theatre Canter. <br />SP1=:CIAL l=.;USI1:lESS <br />S+IxS AAOti to,~rxrend University Judiciary Gor;stitution.
