<br />NWt3 Board of Governors Meeting <br />Jame 94, 9979 <br />f-'sge 2 <br />Investment Committee: Mr. Conley said the committee had met June 92. He <br />reported on a visit with Union Bank officials concerning endowment investments. <br />He said the commit#ee also discussed the sale of score farm property cash flow <br />far the new Speech and Theatre Center, negotiations for sale of a small piece of <br />land at 93th and "O" Streets in Lincoln, and the endowment fiord earnings which <br />he said exceeded expectations this year. <br />On motion duly made and seconded, it was resolved that the property <br />in Lexington, Nebraska, given to Nebraska Wesleyan University by <br />tiie Wycoffs and the Crandalls, be sold, and that th~• c':air.^^an and <br />seca^effiry of the Board of Governors be and hereby are authori=ed to <br />execute and deliver on behalf of Nebraska \Nesieyan University a deed <br />conveying the property to the purchasers. <br />The motion passed by unanimous vote_ <br />It was duly moves and seconded that the Board of Governors approve <br />the actions of the Investment Committee, including the sale of +~o <br />Miller property in }-3x12 Ceunty, Nebraska. <br />'The motion passed. <br />Committee on Soarer affairs: Mr. Conley said the committee is searching for an <br />additional member of the Governors and members of the Trustees. <br />He announced the Governors would hold a retreat September 7, >~, and 9 in Kansas <br />City wilfi the purpose of better understanding NWU and the specific d~..:ies and re- <br />Sportsibilittes flf Gflv+ernpr$. <br />G#~eir~sa.-~ L~rborr: mated tfi~at ice.
