<br />DEED OF RELEASE
<br />This INSTRUMENT, a Deed of Release, is made between the United States of
<br />America, acting by and through the Administrator of the Federal Aviation
<br />Administration, successor in interest to the Administrator of the Civil
<br />Aeronautics Administration and the Administrator of the Federal Aviation
<br />Agency (Section 1402(c) of the Federal Aviation Acts of 1458), under and
<br />pursuant to the powers and authority contained in the provisions of
<br />Public I,aw 81-37.1 (63 Stat. 700), as amended, hereinafter called the
<br />Government, and the County of Hall, State of Nebraska, hereinafter
<br />called the County.
<br />WITNESSETH THAT:
<br />WHEREAS, by Quitclaim Deeds dated October 13, 1948, and March 9, 1970,
<br />the United States of America did release, remise and quitclaim to the
<br />City of Graced Island, Nebraska, its successors and assigns, subject to
<br />certain reservations, restrictions and conditions, all of its right,
<br />title and interest in and to lands and certain property, formerly known
<br />as the Grand Island Municipal Airport (now known as Hall Gounty Regional
<br />Airport) situated in the County of Hall, State of Nebraska, together
<br />with appurtenant buildings, stractures, improvements and utilities
<br />located upon the premises conveyed, as described in said Quitclaim
<br />Deeds, and
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Graced Island, Nebraska, by Quitclaim Deed dated
<br />March 31, 1970, conveyed Grand island Air Park (now known as Hall County
<br />Regional Airport) to the County of Hall, State of Nebraska and
<br />vRFRRec by Quitclaim Deed dated August 13, 1970, the United States of
<br />America did release, remise and quitclaim to the County of Hall, State
<br />of Nebraska, its successors and assignees, subject to certain reservations,
<br />restrictions and conditions, all of its right, title and interest in and
<br />to certain real estate, as described in said Quitclaim Deed, and
<br />WHEREAS, the County has requested that a certain area of the Hall County
<br />Regional Airport consisting of a tract containing 39.617 acres, as
<br />hereinafter described, be released from all of the condi*_ions, reservations
<br />and restrictions of the said Quitclaim Deeds; aced
<br />WfIEREAS, the GavernrnPnt has determined that the area sought to be released
<br />from all obligations and restrictions of the said Quitclaim Deeds is no
<br />longer needed for the development, operation or maintenance of the Hall
<br />County Regional Aizport, that the alienation of said area will not
<br />adversely a€fect the development, operation or maintenance of the airpart,
<br />and that a release of sorb Iaad will give effect to the purposes for
<br />which it vas coz:~red, and is necessary to protect and advance the
<br />interest of the.United States in civil aviation;
