Houghkirk, husband and wife, hereinafter called the Subdividers, as owners of a tract of land comprising all of Lot Four (4}, Leverir_g Subdivision, in the City of Grand Island, *dbraska, said tract containing 5.156 acres, more or less, desire to have subdivided as a subdivision the foregoing described tract of land which is located within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, and hereby submit to the City Council of such City for acceptance as provided by law an accurate map and plat of such proposed subdivision, to be knocan as Houghkirk Subdivision, designating, explicitly the Land to be laid out and particularly describing the lots, streets, and easements belonging, to such subdivision, with lots designated by nu^~bers, streets by names, and easements by dimensions, and propose to cause the plat of such subd?.vision when finally approved by the Regional Planning Commission and the City Council to be acknowledged by such owners, certified as to accuracy of survey by a registered land surveyor, and to contain a dedication of streets to the use of the public forever, and of the easements to public utilities. In consideration of the acceptance of t'ze plat of said uoughkir'.{ Subdivision, the Subdividers hereby consent and agree with the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, ghat they will install or provide at their expense the following improvements: 1. Davin The Subdividers agree to petition the City for the paving of Ellen Lane in said subdivision prior to applying for any occupancy permits for any structures in the subdivision. In the alter- native, the Subdividers may construct~~7arren Lane in accordance with plans and spec ificatiors approved by the City's Director of Public Works and subject to the City's inspection.
