I r 1 04--i 002775 ORDINANCE NO. 7059 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1099; defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1098 in the City of Grand Island. Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point where the North right-ot-way line of Twelfth Street intersects the East right-of-way line of Beal Street. said point also being the Southwest corner of Lot 5, Block 4 in George Loanls Subdivision; thence North on the East right-aE-way line of Beal Street a distance of 132.0 feet; thence East parallel to the North right-of- way line of Twelfth Street; thence South on the East right-ot-way line of Evans Street and its North prolongation a distance of 406.54 feet; thence West parallel to the South right-of-way line of Twelfth Street a distance of 292.0 feet to the East right-of-way line of Beal Street; thence North on the East r1gnt-of-way 110e of Beal Street a distance of 214.54 feet to the South right-ot-way line of Twelfth Street; thence West on the South r1ght-of-way 11ne of 'l'welfth Street a distance of 80.2 feet; thence North a d~stance of 60.0 feet; thence East a distance of 60.0 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit -A- attached hereto and incorporated herein by refe=ence. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be immproved by paving. curbing. guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Twelfth Street from Beal Street to Evans Street.. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council~ SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof. excluding intersect~ons, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provide? by law. SECTION 6. This ordinap.ce, ~ith the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 1. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance. notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
