<br />83- 004Q$19 <br /> <br />3. Grantees shall not discriminate upon the basis of race, <br /> <br />color, religion, sex, or national origin in the construction, sale, <br /> <br />lease, rental, use or occupancy of any of the dwelling units in the <br /> <br />project, <br /> <br />4. All advertising, including signs on the Premises advert- <br /> <br />ising the sale or rental of the Premises shall include the legend, <br /> <br />"An Open Occupa.ncy Building" in type or lettering of easily legible <br /> <br />size and design. <br /> <br />5. Grantees shall not. prior to the completion of the improve- <br /> <br />ments on the Premises, as certified by the Director of the Community <br /> <br />Development Agency, sell. assign. cont:ract to sell, or in any manner <br /> <br />convey the Premises or dny interest therein without the prior writ- <br /> <br />tcn approval of the Director n[ the Community Development Agency. <br /> <br />Any successor in interest ()f Cl-antees shall be bound by the provi- <br /> <br />sions of this deed. <br /> <br />6. Prior to the c:ompietion ,.;f the i;nprovements un the <br /> <br />Premises as certi fied by the Din:clor ,it the l'ommunity Development <br /> <br />Agency, nei ther the Cl-3ntees rlor :H1V successc)r in i nt.erest to the <br /> <br />Premises shall engage in <<ny financing 01' any other transaction <br /> <br />creating ilny mortgage or other oncumbrance 01' 1 ten upon the <br /> <br />PremiSeS, \vhether by expt~eSS agret.~ment ill' \)perati":.H1 of law, or <br /> <br />suffer any E'Hcumbrilllce ur l10n to be mdde on ur attached to the Pre- <br /> <br />mises, except for the purp,)se "nly ,H' ubtaining: <br /> <br />A. Funds only to the extent necessary for making <br />the improvements; or <br /> <br />B. Such additional funds, ii:' iJny, in an amount not to <br />exceed the purchase price paid by the Grantees. <br /> <br />Until issuance of the certificate of completion, Grantees or their <br /> <br />successors in interest shall noLi fy the Director of the Communi ty <br /> <br />Development Agency, in advance, of any financing secured by a mort- <br /> <br />gage or other similar lien instrument \"hich Crantees propose to <br /> <br />enter into with respect to the Premises, and of any encumbrance or <br /> <br />lien that has been created or attached to the Premises by inv,)lunt- <br /> <br />axy act of the Grantees, or otherwise. <br /> <br />2 <br />
