<br />200603483 <br /> <br />5. Traffic Issues. The Subdivider agrees to construct a traffic signal at the <br /> <br />intersection of James Road and Husker Highway with the widening of Husker Highway as it is <br /> <br />predicted by the traffic study that this intersection meets warrants as outlined in the Manual of <br /> <br />Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The signal design shall be approved by the City Public Works <br /> <br />Department and will include "hard wire" interconnection with signals to the east and west. <br /> <br />The City will construct a traffic signal at U.S. Highway 281 and Rae Road (existing <br /> <br />streets) based upon the predicted traffic volumes. The Subdivider is responsible for conducting an <br /> <br />engineering study to warrant the signal. The Subdivider is also responsible for an engineering study <br /> <br />one year after the signal is put into operation to determine if the signal is justified. <br /> <br />6. Water. The Subdivider shall design, construct and install a minimum ten (10) <br /> <br />inch diameter public water main in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the <br /> <br />Director of Public Works, and subject to the City's inspection. Public water is available to the <br /> <br />subdivision and the Subdivider agrees to extend, connect and provide water service to all lots in the <br /> <br />subdivision in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Director of Public Works, <br /> <br />and subject to the City's inspection. <br />7. Sanitary Sewer. The subdivider shall design, construct and install a ten (10) <br /> <br />inch diameter public sanitary sewer in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the <br /> <br />Director of Public Works, and subject to the City's inspection. Public sanitary sewer is available to <br /> <br />the subdivision and the Subdivider agrees to extend, connect and provide sanitary sewer service to all <br /> <br />lots in the subdivision in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Director of Public <br /> <br />Works, and subject to the City's inspection. <br /> <br />- 4 - <br />
