200206515 <br />5. Sidewalks. The Subdividers shall install all public sidewalks as required by <br />a <br />the City of Grand Island when the lots are built upon, and such sidewalk shall be regulated and <br />required with the building permit for each such lot. Sidewalks shall not be required along Adams <br />Street adjacent to Lots Thirty Five (35) through Forty Three (43). The Subdividers shall install a <br />minimum four (4.0) feet wide sidewalk in the public walkway easement between Lots Eight (8) and <br />Nine (9) and between Lots One (1) and Forty Three (43) at time Highgate Road and Westminster <br />Road are improved. The Subdividers shall maintain all public sidewalks required by the City of <br />Grand Island. <br />6. Flood Plain. Since the subdivision is within a delineated flood plain, all <br />structures constructed shall have the lowest floor elevation to a minimum of one foot above the <br />elevation of the 100 -year flood as determined by the building permit received by the Subdividers or <br />successors from the Building Department under the provisions of Section 2- 1506.06, R.R.S. 1943. <br />INo basement shall be constructed in connection with any structure in the flood plain unless such <br />Ibasement is floodproofed and certified as such by a qualified engineer or architect. <br />7. Landscaping. The Subdividers agree to comply with the requirements of the <br />Regulations of the City of Grand Island, and plans as submitted to and approved by the <br />City's Building Department. <br />8. Fencing. A fence shall be allowed in the easterly two (2.0) feet of theden <br />(10.0) foot wide utility easement along the east side of Lots Thirty Five (3 5) through Forty One (41). <br />9. Engineering Data. All final engineering plans and specifications for public <br />improvements shall bear the signature and seal of a registered professional engineer and shall be <br />furnished by the Subdividers to the Department of Public Works for approval prior to contracting for <br />-4_ <br />
