�. � � � 1 � � :� � 1 <br /> issue district improvement warrants of Street Improvement District <br /> No. 98-1 of the City of Wood River, Nebraska, in the form and <br /> manner provided by law. <br /> Section 6 . To allow the final payment and retirement of said <br /> warrants and to pay for the cost of paving, grading, curbing and <br /> guttering or other necessary improvements incidental thereto, the <br /> Mayor and City Council may issue bonds in such form and manner as <br /> may be provided by law, and may assess the cost of said work to the <br /> property in said District in proportion to the benefits derived <br /> therefrom, after crediting any community development block grant <br /> funds for said costs. <br /> Section 7 . After the passage, approval and publication of <br /> this Ordinance as provided herein, there shall be published as <br /> provided by law, in The Wood River Sunbeam, a Notice with respect <br /> to the district created by the terms of this Ordinance, which <br /> Notice shall provide among other things, that if a majority of the <br /> resident owners of the property directly abutting on the street or <br /> streets to be improved in any ,of said district shall file with the <br /> City Clerk within 20 days after the first publication of said <br /> Notice, written objections to the creation of this district, the <br /> improvements in such district shall not be made as provided in this <br /> Ordinance. <br /> Section 8 . This Ordinance shall be published one ( 1 ) time in <br /> The Wood River Sunbeam, a legal weekly newspaper published and of <br /> general circulation in the City of Wood River, Nebraska, and shall <br /> take effect and be in full force from and after its passage, <br /> approval and publication as provided by law. <br /> Section 9 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full <br /> force 30 days after its enactment and publication unless referendum <br /> petitions shall be filed within said 30 days with the City Clerk <br /> pursuant to the provisions of § 18-2501 to § 18-2537 inclusive, <br /> R.R. S.
