202603902 <br />Any sidewalk removals & replacements shall be approved by the City of Grand <br />Island prior to removal. Restoration of sidewalk shall be done within 5 days of <br />removal and shall be inspected by the City of Grand Island Public Works <br />Department. <br />Any street or sidewalk closures require a 72-hour notice to the City of Grand <br />Island Public Works Department at 308-385-5444. <br />Contractor will be required to request a locate before any physical work is to take <br />place. Locate flags shall be removed after the "excavator" has determined the <br />work is complete. <br />(4) <br />(5) All ROW shall be restored to the same condition as prior to the work taking place <br />which includes but is not limited to placement of top soil & seeding at excavated <br />areas within green space and repairing washouts or ruts from construction, <br />seeding disturbed earth, and seeding & erosion control on sloped banks after <br />disturbed. <br />(6) <br />A ROW inspection shall be completed once work is done. Contact the Grand <br />Island Streets Division at 308-385-5322 to request an inspection. <br />Where CROSSING SIGNAL INFRASTRUCTURE <br />Conduit shall not be placed between the City's traffic signal cabinet and <br />connecting traffic signal conduit/poles. Conduit must be offset a minimum of 5' <br />from the base of any traffic signal cabinet, traffic signal pole, or traffic signal pull <br />box. <br />IF SIGNAL CONDUIT/WIRE HAS TO BE CROSSED THE NEW LINE SHALL BE <br />A MINIMUM OF 6' DEEP WHERE CROSSING AND THE EXSTING SIGNAL <br />CONDUIT SHALL BE POTHOLED AND VERIFIED ON -SITE PRIOR TO <br />BORING. <br />
