The Court in <br />awarding a greater share of the marital estate to the Plaintiff acknowledges that because of the <br />financial circumstances of the Defendant the alimony award has been lowered. As a matter of <br />equity, therefore, the Court believes the Plaintiff should not have to pay an equalization sum to <br />the Defendant. <br />VII. ATTORNEY'S FEES <br />The Court declines to award attorney's fees to either party. While both counsel <br />vigorously advocated on behalf of their clients, in the Court's view an award of attorney's fees <br />for the Plaintiff would not be appropriate given the current relative financial situation of the <br />parties. <br />VIII.
