Butler, Judge of the District Court, Ninth Judicial District. The Plaintiff, Eliseo Sanchez, was present with his attorney, John B. McDermott. The Defendant, Paola Sanchez, was present with her attorney, Audrey A. Rowley. Evidence was adduced with the Court receiving Exhibits 7 through 40 and hearing the testimony of Yeleyna Sanchez, Nathan Sanchez, Deseree Sanchez, Eliseo Sanchez and Paola Sanchez. The parties rested and were to provide the Court with simultaneous written closing arguments and proposed Decrees by February 11, 2022. The matter was taken under advisement. NOW on this /.s4-hday of April, 2022, this matter comes on for decision. THE COURT, BEING DULY ADVISED IN THE PREMISES, FINDS AS FOLLOWS: 1. Jurisdiction. The Plaintiff had been a resident of the State of Nebraska for more than one (1) year prior to the commencement of this action and was a resident of Hall County at the time of the filing herein. The Defendant filed a Voluntary Appearance on August 19, 2020. More than sixty (60) days have passed since the filing of the Defendant's Voluntary Appearance. The Court has jurisdiction over both parties, the subject matter of this action, and the child custody determination. Neither party is a member of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
