201701737 <br /> 15. To Transact Business. To transact all of my business at any bank or other <br /> financial institution in which I may have deposited or may hereafter deposit or have <br /> deposited for me, any funds; to have access to my safety deposit box; to draw checks on <br /> my account in said bank or other financial institution; to endorse all checks, drafts and bills <br /> of exchange, securities, bonds, or other documents which may require my endorsement <br /> for collection or deposit; and to open, remove from, and add to, items in a bank safety <br /> deposit box, and to have full and free access to my safe deposit box, on my behalf. To <br /> contract with and make claims to any governmental organization or private company with <br /> regard to medical or retirement related matters;to pay insurance premiums, purchase new <br /> insurance policies, change insurance beneficiaries, and cancel insurance policies. To <br /> transfer any interests in property I may own to a revocable or living trust created by me, <br /> which trust benefits me during my life. <br /> 16. Prepare and Sign Income Tax Returns and Deal with the IRS. To prepare, <br /> execute, and file both federal and state income tax returns, or amendments thereto, and <br /> any claims for refund, or to make any report required by any governmental agencies. My <br /> attorney shall have the authority to represent my interest in any dealing with the Internal <br /> Revenue Service and to have authority to receive confidential information, to deliver <br /> confidential information to the Internal Revenue Service, and to enter into any compromise <br /> or settlement agreement with the Internal Revenue Service as may affect any tax liability, <br /> interest or penalty owing to the Internal Revenue Service or the United States Treasury by <br /> the principal. <br /> 17. To Do All Other Things Necessary in Connection Herewith. In general to do <br /> all other acts, deeds, matters, and things whatsoever in or about my estate, property, and <br /> affairs, or to concur with persons jointly interested with myself therein in doing all acts, <br /> deeds, matters, and things herein, either particularly or generally described, as fully and <br /> effectually to all intents and purposes as I could do in my own proper person if personally <br /> present, it being my intent to grant to my said attorney a general power to act for me and <br /> in my behalf, and not a limited or special power, limited to the specific acts herein <br /> described. <br /> 18. To Compensate my Attorney in Fact. My said attorney may pay to my said <br /> attorney in fact reasonable compensation for services performed in acting on my behalf. <br /> 19. Power of Attorney Effective Immediately and Notwithstanding Disability of <br /> Principal; Continues in Effect After Principal's Death Until Notice. Pursuant to the <br /> provisions of the Nebraska Probate Code, I declare that this power of attorney shall <br /> become effective immediately and shall not be affected by my disability or incapacity, and <br /> that the authority granted herein shall continue during any period while I am disabled or <br /> incapacitated. Further, pursuant to said Sections, all such authority shall continue after my <br /> death, until notice of such death shall have been received by my attorney so that he has <br /> actual knowledge of the fact that I have died. Any action taken in good faith by said <br /> attorney during any period while it is uncertain whether I am alive, before he received <br /> actual knowledge of my death, or, in any event, taken during any period while I am <br /> 4 <br />
